Fort Electric, LLC is a family-owned business founded by Bruce and Sharon Scott in 2004. Initially established as a small electrical company with a limited number of employees, it continues to operate in this manner today. Avery Scott, the current owner, is a licensed electrical contractor with over two decades of expertise.

 

In 2005, he worked with a large electrical company in Dayton and later relocated back to Mercer County with his family in 2013 to join his father in the family business. Avery has been with Fort Electric ever since and eventually assumed leadership of the company when his father, Bruce Scott, retired. His professional background includes experience with large electrical companies, teaching electrical courses at IEC and ABC apprenticeship programs for the last fifteen years, and managing extensive commercial, industrial, and residential projects.

Avery’s wife, Jessica Scott, is the company’s Chief Administrative Officer. She manages billing, invoicing, and human resources for Fort Electric. She works as an elementary school librarian during the day and as a chief administrator in the evening. If you call to schedule a service or repair, she is likely to take your call.
